Sport Canterbury delivers Sport and Recreation Awards across the region each year. These awards recognise the people, teams and organisations contributing to sport and active recreation in their communities.

They acknowledge achievement in sport, as well as the ongoing work that supports participation, inclusion and community wellbeing. From athletes and coaches through to volunteers and local initiatives, the awards reflect the full range of contribution across the sector.
