STANWAY PONY CLUB UNIFORM

For branch rallies use the casual uniform:

• Safety approved helmet
• Stanway branded vest
• Long sleeve Stanway branded shirt - long sleeves are a NZPCA rule .
  
• Beige jodphurs
• Riding boots, jodphur boots and chaps (if worn), in brown or black colour
• Manawatu Pony Club Badge, to be worn on collar of the rally shirt (or on collar of vest)
• Red Saddle blanket - member to source (available at Saddlery Warehouse)

When representing Stanway at Manawatu Pony Club events, certificate exams and other formal occasions the following formal uniform is worn:

• Safety approved helmet
• Stanway branded vest
• Long sleeve white shirt
• Red tie
• Beige jodphurs
• Riding boots, jodphur boots and chaps (if worn), in brown or black colour
• Manawatu Pony Club Badge, to be worn on the tie below the knot
• Red saddle blanket
• Red hat cover (subject to availability)

Approved safety gear and correct tack must be used at all times and follow NZPCA rules and guidelines.
Riding Hats must meet NZPCA safety standards.  Once checked and approved by the head instructor a red tag will be placed on the helmet strap. 
Back Protectors are compulsory for cross country, and recommended for games and jumping. NOTE: If you are looking to purchase a back protector, NZPCA will introducing a mandatory standard for back protectors in 2020, it is hoped the standard will be announced in early 2018. It will most likely be the UK standard which is Level 3 BETA 2000 or 2009 (Purple label).
