Many of you know of our long time SV Rhinos Coach LeRoy Kururangi!!!! But did you know that in addition to Coaching our Under 9 Tackle team this year, he is also our Junior Club Chairperson, our Junior Club Convenor, our Nursery Co-Coach...but wait....no that's not all...!!!

LeRoy was given the absolute privilege of being appointed as the Hutt Valley U12 Intra Provincial Head Coach this year!!!

LeRoy and his two awesome co-coaches Kieron Caveney and Tamati Karehana (who he coached alongside with in 2018 when our U13 Rhinos merged with the Rimutaka Rams U13s), helped LeRoy to lead the U12 HV rep team to an amazing victory at the rep tournament that was held in July in Upper Hutt!!!

A massive well done to all the HV rep players that slogged it out from Friday to Sunday - what an amazingly talented bunch of individuals you all are! To come together in six short weeks and gel together like you did - you guys and gals are just awesome young athletes with amazing potential and huge futures ahead of you!

Also huge thanks to our Rhinos whānau that came together to help host the U12 rep team at their marae noho - which was a first time experience for a number of these young players. Ngā mihi mahana!!
