SUMMER 5'S IS BACK!

2026/2027 SUMMER SEASON - WELCOME BACK

For players aged 5 - 15 years, Summer 5's is a combination of fun, competitive and friendly environment providing a fun Wednesday kick around.  

We have team and individual entry options for our Summer 5's!! Teams can be registered for 5 - 7 players.  

Alternatively if you don't have enough players for a team, register as an individual, and we'll find a team for you.


Kicks Off:  Wednesday 28th October 2026

Every Week: 4.30pm at Taharoto Park

Concludes For Christmas: Wednesday 16th December 2025

Kick Off (After Chirstmas): Wednesday 27th January 2026

Every Week: 4.30pm at Taharoto Park

Concludes: Wednesday 24th February 2026

How to register a team:

Summer Footbal TEAM Registration Process

  1. Go to the Summer Football page on this website
  2. Open the page for the competition you want to enter a team into
  3. Click on the Team Entry form link Click Here to Register a Team
  4. Complete the Team Entry form and submit
  5. You will receive a confirmation email, click on the link within the email Copy Link that you can send people so they can add themselves to your team
  6. A pop up box will appear with a link that you need to copy and then send to your players and team management to register as individuals directly to your team.
  7. U5-U7 (Max 6 per team), U8-U11 (MAX 7 per team), U12-U15 (Max 10 per team)


UNIFORM / PLAYING GEAR

The club loans you a shirt for the season, which is collected on the first day and returned on the last day of play

All players are required to wear the following kit -

  •  Shorts, socks

  •  Moulded sole football boots

  •  ALL players must wear shin pads​

RULES

5th/6th/7th Grade:  3v3  no goal keepers, mini goals, kick ins, no corners, no offsides, no slide tackles. U5-U7 (Max 6 per team) 3 game rotation of 20 minutes.

8th-11th Grade:  5v5, goal keepers, 3/4 size goals, corners, kick ins or throw ins, no offsides, no slide tackles. Grading system into competitve and friendly leagues. U8-U11 (MAX 7 per team)

12th-15th Grade: 5v5, goal keepers, 3/4 size goals, corners, kick ins or throw ins, no offsides, no slide tackles. Competitive league table and results. U12-U15 (Max 10 per team)​​​​​​​

Weekly Games played:  two x 25 minute games against two different teams


CANCELLATIONS

Decisions to cancel Summer 5's sessions due to bad weather or council ground closure is made by 2pm on Wednesday

  •  The Club website & social media channels are also updated with cancellations
