PLAYER & TEAM REGISTRATION PROCESSES

• Players will need to register with their Club or School, using their registrations forms. 
  • If you are a new club please contact our Operations Manager and she can get you set up
• Many schools may already be familiar with Sporty as this is the same system used for softball, touch and rugby league registrations. And for clubs already using Sporty the official netball registration form will automatically be applied to your site. ​​​​​​​
  • If you used Sporty for online registrations last season you will be able to invite your players back to re-register without requiring them to have to re-enter their details.
• The official Taupo Netball Centre registration form for 2025 will be available online in February 2025.

There are three steps to the registration process: 

1.            Register players through their school/club player online registration form:

2.            Schools/Clubs enter Teams in TeamBuilder on their Sporty site

3.            Schools/Clubs assign Players to Teams in TeamBuilder.

• Before you start getting your 2025 registration form up and running, you will need access to Sporty. 
  
  • Please contact support@sportsground.co.nz if you wish to get a login for your school/club.
• A quick video below will show you how to access the SuperForm and get it up on your school/club website open for players to register for the upcoming netball season.
  
• Clubs and schools will also use this registration form as the registration form for players/officials to register with you directly.
  
  • You have the ability to add additional fields to the form that are specific to you (eg uniform information, online payments). Any data in your custom fields is not passed to us, but is securely available for you to use as an online database. This lets everyone's needs be met through the completion of one single web form, so that you don't need to run a separate parallel registration/consent process.
    
• Please note once you have the form open, copy yourself the link to see how it works, ie selecting roles, and what your players will be completing as well as anything you may have added to the form.  
  
  • ​​​​​​​This form is for players, coaches, managers and volunteers
    
  • A player who coaches, etc, in your Club/School can tick as many roles as they like
    
  • If a player plays at your Club/School but coaches/manages at another Club/School, they need to complete the same form at the club/school they coach, etc
    
  • If a player plays for club and school they complete a separate form at each club and school.

• Send a group email to everyone registered through this solution last season that lets them re-register for the new season with just one click
• Watch your online database grow as people register through your form
• Easily see who hasn't re-registered from last season so you can chase them if you wish
• Customise the input fields on your registration form to suit your needs

Once you have your players registered, you can create your teams in Team Builder and add your players.  Please see the 2nd video to help you with this part of the registration process.

Players can be registered through out the season, up until two weeks before the semi finals games.  ​​​​​​​

• The player must register online with the club or school they will be playing for​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
• To register with the club or school you will be playing for, select from the list of clubs and schools by clicking on the button below and it will take you to their registration page.​​​​​​​

• Inform Operations Manager via email or registration desk minimum of one hour prior to the 1st game for the new player.
  
• Teams cannot add players to team list themselves, it can only be done by the Operations Manager.  ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

A Casual Player is someone who is not currently registered to a club or school and who is playing a one off game for a club or school (generally due to a shortage of players).

For a casual player to be able to take the court with the use of the Game Day App scoring system, the following process must happen to ensure their name appears the team list.  Failure to follow the procedure below may result in a penatly of a default loss.

TNC CASUAL PLAYER POLICIES

The team must subsequently pay the casual fee of $20 before the team takes the court on the next playing day.

A casual player must not be registered in any other team.

A casual player may not play in Crossover Semi Finals or Finals.

A team may only play up to two casual players in any one game.

Once a casual player has played for the same team three times, they must then register with that team  ​​​​​​​

Males are not permitted to be casual players

The casual player must register online with the club or school they will be playing for, a minimum of two hours prior to the game.

To register with the club or school you will be playing for, select from the list of clubs and schools by clicking on the button below and it will take you to their registration page.

Players can be registered through out the season, up until two weeks before the semi finals games.  

The deadline for player registrations for 2025 is:  Saturday 26th July

Email our Operations Manager to deregister a player

Ensure the players name is no longer showing in the Game Day App on game day, if it is then please notify the Operations Manager.
