INDOOR MIXED LEAGUE INFORMATION

Registration Process

1. Team coordinator registers their team using the Team Entry Form, found by clicking on the link above.
   1. ​​​​​​​No players names are required at the time of registration
   2. 50% non refundable deposit is required at the time of registration
   3. Teams are confirmed on a 1st come and 1st served basis, with a maximum of 24 teams
2. Team coordinator gets sent a team registration confirmation email, which contains a link to view and manage your team and also a Player Registration link for them to send to all of their players so they can register individually
   1. ​​​​​​​Scorer Code - each team has a unique scorer code so they can access the app to sign in their teams and score their gaems each week
   2. Player Registration Link - the link sent to players to register
3. Players Register as Individuals - each player is required to register as an individual and by using their team link sent by their team coordinator, this registers them directly to their team
   1. ​​​​​​​A minimum of 7 players must be registered 3 weeks prior to the start of the competition, if not then you may lose your place in the competition for another team on the waiting list
4. Each week teams will sign in their teams in using the MyNetball Manager App, along with scoring their games using this app
   1. ​​​​​​​Teams will need to have one persons phone available each week that is set up with the app, for signing in players and scoring the game (there will no longer be a paper sign in sheet or scorecards)
   2. Teams can have multiple people set up a user account to access the app using their teams scorer code. 
   3. Staff will be available for the first two weeks to guide teams through the process​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​Mixed League is run 2 times each year, in Summer and Spring and is a social league to promote Netball to a wider range of the community i.e. business groups and males. Teams are made up of a mixture of female and male players.

THINGS TO KNOW

• International Netball Rules apply.
• Teams must abide by the Taupo Netball Centre & the International Netball Rules.
• Mixed League Co-ordinator will communicate with teams via email where possible,for all updates, draws and results.​​​​​​​
• It is up to teams to supply their own first aid supplies and ice
• Teams are responsible for taking the score.
• ​​​​​​​Games are 4 x 8 minute quarters.

• Teams can register up to 12 players
• Teams MUST have a minimum of 2 male players on the court, with no more than 3 male players being allowed to take the court at any one time during a game.
• When 3 male players are on the court at any one time they must play in differing positions and there cannot be 2 males in the shooting circle or defense circle at the same time.​​​​​​​

• Courts
• Umpires
• Netballs
• Bibs (see the bib policy below)
• Timekeeper​​​​​​​

Netball Bibs

• All teams that do not have their own bibs are to be issued a set of bibs for the length of the competition and responsible for washing them weekly and having them available for their team each week.
• $50 bond will be charged for use of TNC bibs and refunded upon the bibs being returned as a full set and in good condition
• Bibs are to be returned immediately after the teams final game and TNC will wash them

Uniforms - TShirts

• Teams must supply their own uniform, where each player within the team must wear a black  ‘T’Shirt (black singlets are also fine)
• If a team wants to wear a different colour then every shirt must be identical and not different shades or styles of a similar colour.

Prizes

1st Place                        $100 credit for the next mixed league competition entry

2nd Place                       $   75 credit for the next mixed league competition entry

TNC will supply umpires, the cost is included in the fees

Fees may vary if the Taupo Event Centre is unavailable for our preferred 6 week competitions.

• 50% deposit is required at the time of registering your team
• 50% balance is due 14 days prior to the start of the competition
  
• Bib hire bond is due 14 days prior to the start of the competition
  

2026 Fees

• $400 per team        6 Week Competition​​​​​​​
• ​​$50 per team          Bib Hire Bond, this is refunded upon the return of the TNC bibs and fees are credited directly to the credit/debit card the deposit was paid with
  
  • Bib hire bond is ​​​​​​​optional, teams can provide their own bibs and will not have to pay this fee
