TPC GYMKHANA TEAM SELECTION

To select a team of 24 riders to ride at the Bay of Plenty Area Pony Club Championship Gymkhana.

The team of riders will be selected from financial Tauranga Pony Club riders who have a desire to compete in the Bay of Plenty Area Pony Club Championship Gymkhana.

We will take a team of up to 24 riders to compete against other BOP Pony Club District Teams for an overall Points Trophy, a Horse Management Trophy, Hack SJ Jigsaw Trophy, Pony SJ Jigsaw, and Dressage Quadrille. 

Riders must have attended their qualifying rallies in the 12 months prior to the last qualifying gymkhana. Riders must be current financial members of Tauranga Pony Club.  

Age groups are: (1) 10 and under, (2) 11 &12, (3) 13 &14, (4) 15 and over. 

These groups relate to the rider’s age on the date of the BOP Championship Gymkhana. Age as at 10 December 2017. 

Heights of Show Jumping and Show Hunter Classes 

10 yrs and under 50-55 cm 

11 & 12 yrs 60-65 cm 

13 & 14 yrs 70-75 cm

15 & under 24 80‐85 cm
