Te Waipounamu Māori Netball covers the entire South Island and is responsible for managing and coordinating Maori Netball.

Under the auspices of Maori Woman’s Welfare League Inc, Te Waipounamu Māori​​​​​​​ Netball is the representative netball rohe for Maori wahine in the South Island.

Our boundary lines stem from the top of the South Island (Marlborough & Tasman) through Canterbury and Otago down to the bottom of the South Island in Murihiku

MISSION
To encourage Maori whanau well-being using netball as the vehicle.

PURPOSE

Encourage Maori to have a Healthy Lifestyle using Netball as the vehicle and compete in the annual Aotearoa Maori Netball Oranga Healthy Lifestyle Tournament, and when necessary host and facilitate events.
