The Pre-AIMS Challenge is back for 2026! An exciting one-day tournament designed to help teams prepare for the AIMS Games. With boys, girls, and mixed divisions, this fast-paced event offers quality match play, a fun atmosphere, and the chance to build team confidence ahead of the big stage.

Date: Thursday 16th July (Rain date Friday 17th July)

Venue: Tauranga Hockey Centre

Divisions: Boys • Girls • Mixed

Entry Fee: $200 per team

Umpire Requirement: All teams must supply an umpire or pay a $60 umpiring fee
This is a great opportunity for umpire development in preparation for AIMS!

Games: Minimum of 4 games per team

Format: AIMS Games rules (with modified game lengths)

Registrations close on the 3rd of July

Please note - the Pre-AIMS Challenge is for school teams only. Intermediate Year 7-8.
