Common issues you may encounter when trying to enter competitions .

We would appreciate you working through this list with your Club Bowlshub administrator in the first instance:

▶️ Entries close at 6p.m. 12 days prior to competition to enable sufficient time to work through any issues that may arise.  

▶️ Check your are entering the correct competition i.e. a Woman cannot enter a Men's comp and vice versa

▶️ Check you have selected your Club

▶️ Check you have selected your 'Position' - this appears on the first page - select 'Skip' if entering a Singles comp

▶️ Save your changes

▶️ Enter ALL team member names

🟥▶️🟥 When your entry is successfully completed/submitted you should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes - if you have not received this- CHECK spam/promotions/social emails.

🚦🚦🚦The confirmation will go to the team member who is saved as the PRIMARY CONTACT.

🛑 🛑 In the event of postponement or cancellation of a Tournament (usually weather related) - a message will be placed on the scrolling banner on the home page of this website and on the Thames Valley Bowls Inc facebook page. Check these before travel. 🛑🛑

▶️  ▶️ Please update your Bowlshub profiles with your correct contact details, club etc

▶️ Some players have 2 Bowlshub ID numbers (for various reasons but it's usually related to multiple attempts to obtain a number). TV Bowlshub administrators will remove duplicate details as the system automatically gives a player a default number - this is the first number issued to a player by Bowlshub when a player first registers.

🟥 ENTRIES FOR TV TOURNAMENTS WILL CLOSE AT 6PM, 12 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT AND ALL ENTRIES ARE TO BE RECEIVED VIA BOWLSHUB. 

🟥 PUBLICATION OF TOURNAMENT DRAWS WILL REMAIN THE SAME AND WILL BE PUBLISHED AS SOON AS THEY ARE AVAILABLE - generally this is around 6pm on the Thursday immediately preceding the tournament.

🟥 IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BOWLSHUB NUMBER OR YOU ARE UNSURE HOW TO USE BOWLSHUB, PLEASE ASK SOMEONE IN YOUR CLUB TO ASSIST YOU. 

🧿  Did you know there are short tutorial videos on You Tube on how to sign-up to Bowlshub and how to enter competitions? Search BowlsHub tutorials - most are only 3-4 minutes long. There are links posted on the Thames Valley facebook page too 🧿​​​​​​​
