RALPH  ESMOND  BAX

It is with much sadness that we inform our Bowling Community of the passing of our Patron,

Ralph Bax, at the Thames Hospital, 24th December 2021, aged 83 years.

Ralph, a Past President of the Thames Valley Inc. Board, served on the Executive Board and also held

many other positions within Thames Valley Bowls.

Ralph was a great person on and off the Bowling Green, and well known by most Players within the

Thames Valley and throughout New Zealand.

He was a keen, active Member of the Hikutaia Bowling Club for many years prior to it's closure, being President 

there for many years, before moving into Thames and becoming a very popular Member of the Thames Bowling Club.

His knowledge and sportsmanship in the game of Bowls was always of the highest standard. 

He will always be remembered as an exeptional, fine and inspirational gentleman and friend to so many. 

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Pauline and all the Family.
