STANDARD TEAM ENTRY

Teams of 2, 3 or 4

3hr Trek: $75 per team member ​​​​​​​

6hr Trek: $100 per team member

6hr Bike/Trek: $100 per team member 

8hr Bike/Trek: $125 per team member


STUDENT TEAM ENTRY

Teams of 3 or 4

3hr Trek: $100 per team

6hr Trek: $150 per team

FAMILY TASTER RACE

$50 per family

(up to five people, does not include goodie bag or scoring of event)

RACE OVERVIEW

The VetSouth Gorge Adventure Race is on Saturday 14 March 2026. Get ready to explore a fantastic course, based in the beautiful Lora Gorge, Southland.

 The aim is simple: navigate your team around the course to as many of the control points as possible within the timeframe given.

Some control points will be worth more than others, and points will be taken off for returning late - so take care of how you manage your time! 

The 6hr bike/trek event will be completed half on your bike and half as a trek - you'll come back to base half way through to transition, and get your new map. The 8hr bike/trek event won't require a return to base until the end, so you will need to take everything with you. All other events are trekking only.

ENTRIES

Entries will be online via a link through our website or via our facebook page - watch this space as entries will open soon, and get in quickly as we may sell out!

There will be an overall limit for the event but these limits may be changed at the organisers discretion. A waiting list will apply for anyone else wanting to enter or if there are any spaces left in the races then people can enter on the day.

TEAM SIZE

All events must be entered as a team. You can have two, three or four members in your team. 

Student teams can have three or four members and all members must be a minimum of Year 9 at school.
