The Poker Run is a popular social event on the Sunday of Queen's birthday weekend every year.
It is a Pub crawl in Timaru consisting of 5 stops starting at the Club rooms. At every stop every person will be dealt a playing card. By the end of the night every player will have a full poker hand, the player with the winning hand wins a cash prize. There are always hilarities had by all, with spot prizes, raffles, surprises and a great atmosphere with fun had by all.
