At the Caledonian Grounds, Timaru City put away a ragged Temuka side 5-1.

Temuka also started the game with just eight players, with players arriving in dribs and drabs until they finally had a full compliment after half an hour of play.

Despite the space, Timaru City could not breach Temuka's defence until the 41st minute when Blair Hanifin knocked one in.

James Flowers capped a superb game by putting City two in front in the 68th minute before a quick-fire double from Ryan Hutton sealed the match.

Nasy Khynku added a fifth while Temuka's Andrew Kirkcaldie ruined hopes of a clean sheet when he scored.
