RULES AND REGULATIONS

 Written December 2011

1. BY-LAWS:
Club members shall be bound by the rules of Te Ringa Kaha Netball Club as modified herein.

2. FINANCE:
The Annual fees shall be as recommended at the Annual General Meeting:
(a) As voted at the Annual General Meeting.
(b) As stated in constitution, Rule 15

3. PRACTICES:
(a) Shall be held weekly as voted at the AGM of a fixed time and place set down by the coaches of the relative teams.
(b) Members shall endeavour to be punctual and attend practices with regularity.
(c) If a member misses the preceding complete practice before a game they therefore can be stood down unless there presence is required by the Coach.
(d) Each member will use the best endeavours to attend each game.
(e) The coach / captain is to be contacted if a member finds they are no longer able to attend
(f) Smoking will be prohibited while wearing the playing uniform and/or the Club tracksuit:
- Penalty for this will be a five ($5) fine, paid before the next playing day. If not paid within this limit, it will be doubled accumulating each week.
(g) Consumption of alcohol prior to a game is prohibited.
(h) Disputes arising within the team should be dealt with by people specially appointed.

4. CLUB UNIFORMS:
(a) “NO SMOKING” in Club owned uniforms.
(b) Club owned uniforms are only to be worn for Netball purposes.
(c) Uniform hire age fees must be paid by the fourth (4th) playing Saturday.
(d) Uniform hire age fees are not refundable.
(e) Any damage that occurs to uniforms will be at players cost.
(f) All uniforms are to be handed to the Team Captain or Club Uniform Officer on the last playing Saturday for the season. If you unable to play the last game then the uniform must
be handed in beforehand.

  5.   MISCONDUCT:
(a) Any member who is alleged to have misbehaved in any way shall be required to appear before the Executive of the Club.
(b) Notification shall be sent to the person concerned within forty eight (48) hours of the complaint being received.
(c) Where possible the Club Executive shall meet prior to the next playing Saturday to hear all evidence, and make a decision as to that member/s punishment (if any), which shall be binding.
