It gives me great pleasure to welcome all players, officials and spectators to Croquet Mount Maunganui.  We are very proud to be hosting the Under 21 Golf Croquet World Championship.

We moved to these facilities in December 2010 and have hosted the 4^th Women’s Golf Croquet World Championship, the final test in the MacRobertson Shield held in January 2015 and the 11^th Golf Croquet World Championship in 2015.  Our move to this location means that we can host International and National Events on our six lawns.

At Croquet Mount Maunganui we enjoy playing both Association and Golf Croquet with a good number of our members playing competitively.

Participants, officials and spectators are invited to make full use the facilities of Club Mount Maunganui.  The Club has a restaurant, bar and seating facilities upstairs overlooking our lawns give a wonderful views of the games in play.

Our club members have worked tirelessly along with the green keeper to get the lawns to the best condition they could possibly be for the championship.  I would like to express my thanks to them all.  You have done us proud.

To the Competitors and the Officials I trust you will enjoy the facilities and lawns, have a great competition and I wish you every success.  Enjoy the tournament and the hospitality of our members here at Croquet Mount Maunganui.
