The organisers of the 21st Underwater Hockey Worlds Championships have been working closely with CMAS to explore options for holding the UWH World Championships as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The event organisers in conjunction with CMAS have confirmed that the tournament will now be held 20 July to 1 August 2021 with the location of the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre remaining unchanged.
