From 1 Jan 2025 College Sport Auckland, College Sport Wellington, and School Sport Canterbury are using Sporty.co.nz as the main method for schools to enter teams and students into school sports competitions.

The main goal is to make it easier and more streamlined for schools. 

Most schools already use Sporty for entering teams into competitions. For example, most schools are familiar with using Sporty TeamBuilder to enter teams into competitions and tournaments that are managed by regional sports organisations.

Now that school sports organisations are using the same system, most schools throoughout New Zealand will be able to use one single platform for most school sport. The shift to Sporty from 2025 onwards provides new features and functionality for schools, such as:

• Potential to use a Live Scoring App for live scoring and game results.
• Integrate with Edge/Helix or KAMAR to have the school roll appear in Sporty TeamBuilder.
• Simply drag & drop students into teams.
• Use the 'Magic Link' method from Sporty to make it easy for students or parents/caregivers to self-register if you wish.
• Access other features such as e-Newsletters, group emails and www.chat2team.co.nz instant messaging.
