NAPIER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

Our Learners and Development programmes provide a fun, supportive pathway for young players to build confidence, develop their volleyball skills, and enjoy the game. The first session also includes a player assessment to ensure participants are placed in the programme that best supports their current skill level and future development.

Learners Programme

2026 Term 4, 8 week Volleyball Development Programs

The Learners Programme is ideal for players who are new to volleyball or are still developing control of the fundamental skills. Players will learn the core techniques of serving, passing, setting, attacking, and movement, while gaining an understanding of how to apply these skills in game situations. This programme is best suited to players in approximately Years 4–8.

The Development Programme is designed for players who have developed basic control of the fundamental skills and are ready to improve their consistency and confidence. Sessions focus on refining technique, increasing skill accuracy, improving decision-making, and introducing more advanced game play concepts. This programme is generally suited to players in approximately Years 7–10.
