During the season Waikanae junior teams will play some games in the Horowhenua to help support their junior rugby.  The team managers will provide details the week before each game.

Games for the Y1 - Y6 grades are played between Waikanae and Tawa in the Wellington Western Bay Zone.  Games for the Y7/8 grade are played anywhere in Wellington.

For all grades there are also select games in Horowhenua.

In 2024, all grades will remove weight limits which will ensure a more inclusive grade structure. However, lighter children can be granted automatic dispensation to play down a grade and there are in game playing restrictions for heavier children.

The 2024 Junior Rugby Weights Grade Chart is available via the link to the right with further information.

Your coach/manager will be in contact with details and it will also be on the facebook page.

At times during the season the Council will close the grounds to prevent them from getting damaged.
