Family Fun Weekend
15-16 November 2025
Who can go? Anyone connected to your family. Our older paddlers are keen to share the river with you all and coach those wanting to paddle.
Where do we stay? At Firmin Lodge- we can accommodate upto 60 people.
What will we be doing? Kayaking, rafting, boogie boarding, inner tube whatever floats down the river.
Where do I go? Arrive Waterhouse street reserve in Kawerau at about 10am on Saturday 15th
What to bring; Bring togs and wet suits getting wet clothes for all. Food for potluck dinner. Lunch x2 and breakfast x1 for your people. (There is shops handy for bakery and supermarket) sleeping bag (or blankets) sheet and pillow.(6bunks per room)
How much will it cost? We split the cost of the lodge between those staying. About $35 per person.(TBA)
When does it finish? About 2pm on Sunday.
