WAIMARINO PC COMPETITIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Entry forms for the Club Competitions will be available at rallies.  The closing date and entry fees are on the entry forms, a late entry fee of $15.00 per horse on all late entries. The club charges a first aid and ground fee of $7.00 per competitor.

Most competitions are open competitions (open to the public).

WPC DRESSAGE AND JUMPING

OPEN compeititions. Dressage is held in the morning and Jumping in the afternoon.

The Dressage competition has three age groups which may vary from year to year. Trophies are presented to the highest placed Waimarino PC members in the Championship classes.

The Jumping competition will involve 1 or 2 rings. The height will begin with rails on the ground to 1.05m.

The competition may also be a trial for members wanting to compete at the NI Jumping Championship.


WPC GYMKHANA

An OPEN competition involving 3 age groups, involving flat classes, individual mounted games and jumping. For those not wanting to jump, an option has been provided where 3 alternative games/activities will be provided.

NZPCA FIRST START

A NZPCA First Start Competition is an introduction to Competitive Riding and offers younger and inexperienced riders the opportunity to compete in a safe environment.

NZPCA First Start - Level 1 – for Riders 12 years and under (on the day of competition) in two divisions- Lead rein and Off the Lead Rein.

Both divisions involve a dressage test and games /obstacles.

NZPCA First Start - Level 2 – all ages who are more independent but still inexperienced riders. Combines dressage and/or jumping, and/or games/obstacle course or cross country.


WPC Camp - (usually 4 days and 3 nights)


WPC Quiz - The Roke Horse Mastership trophy – was an Area inter branch competition. No longer presented.​​​​​​​
