So you may be asking yourself "why join the club and pay annual fees?"

We are a non profit organisation which only gathers revenue to cover the bear minimum of our expenses such as:

1) Pool hire for Polo training and rolling session.
2) Upgrading and maintaining all the gear for both Polo and White water - this includes
  - Boats
  - Paddles
  - Helmets
  - Spreydecks
  - Goals (at pool and on the lake)
  - Boat trailer
  - Balls
  - Normal club Admin
and I am sure there is some stuff I have missed.

All coaches, committee members and any one involved in training and running of the Club and organising members, events, travel, accomodation etc. are volunteers.

Your fees also go towards the club paying membership to White Water NZ.  Which will give you access to subsidised River Rescue and Safety courses run by qualified instructors.

It ensures you are on our email lists so that you can be advised on what is happening in regards to River Trips and other important information

And it qualifies you to hire our gear at a very low cost (helmets, life jackets, boats, spreydecks, sprey jackets)

So your fees are very important to us, to help us in ensuring that the Club can survive not only financially but also that we can continue to provide memebers with all the eqipment that they need for white water kayaking and Polo.  As well as help maintain that equipment.
