REFEREE INFORMATION

We are excited to annouce that Wanaka Touch are part of a new referee initiative where we will be providing referee coaching and support throughout the season.  This is an exciting development for our module and we want you to be a part of it!  Please indicate on the registration form if you are able to assist with refereeing each Monday evening.  You will be paid for your time plus fed and watered!

Referees are the most important part of the game!  If you are interested in learning more about refereeing or taking the steps to sit a referee course, please get in touch.

Touch NZ FREE online Foundation Referee Course

This is a great tool for any budding referees (or players wanting to know more about the technical side of the game) to upskill on the playing rules.  

The online course will provide users with all fundamental skills and education required to referee touch at the community level. 

There are interactive elements, videos, and knowledge checkpoints along the way to assist learners. 

The course is broken into ten modules, which users can complete at their own pace.

NOTE THAT ANY REFEREES WHO HAVE COMPLETED THIS ONLINE COURSE WILL BE ELEGIBLE FOR PAYMENT FOR ANY GAMES REFEREED THIS SEASON AT WANAKA TOUCH!
