Welcome to Wellington College Volleyball

Volleyball is a very popular and successful sport at WC with 4 senior and 4 junior teams in 2023. Trials take place at the beginning of Term 1 with trainings taking place in both Term 1 and 4. Info will be sent out to those enrolled.

The Senior A team won the CSW competition, the Regional Championships and finished 5th at Nationals in March this year. The best a WC Volleyball team has ever reached at Nationals!

UNIFORM: Indoor court shoes, PE shorts, PE top (singlet and shorts provided for prems team)

COMPETITION: CSW Leagues. Juniors play Wednesdays after school and seniors play Fridays after school at various school gyms throughout Wellington. Occasionally, help with transport is needed. Parents, please offer to help with this.

TRAINING: At least twice a week

SEASON: Terms 1 & 4

COSTS: $80 Registration (covers both terms) . Tournaments cost extra.

TRIALS: All held at the WC Sports Centre. Please come in sports gear and ready to go 15 mins before start time. Players must be registered and paid in order to trial.

Pre season scrimmages are on Wednesdays 4-6 pm at the Old Boys Gym, all seniors welcome.
First Trial on Tuesday 30 January 3.30-5.30 pm WCSCC
Second Trial on Thursday 1 February 4-6 pm WCSCC
Friday 9th Feb - first game CSW competition played at various school gyms in Wellington
Trainings on Thursdays 4-6.30 pm February 8, 15, 22, 29) at WCSCC
Then back at Wellington College Sports Centre March.

TERM 4 programme, all trainings at WC Sports Centre with games at school gyms around Wellington area.

The Seniors have restarted but we are still taking registrations for senior social teams.
