The association with The Warriors also provides a pathway for local coaches to be exposed to new learning opportunities. 

The Warriors sattelite academy identifies youth boys in the WRL selected to undergo strength and conditioning at Athletes Village and supported with skills and drills field work. Preparing players for the next progression in their pathway through WRL. Good to see some of our WRL boys youth talent progressing along the pathway from the inaugural 2025 u14s player on development programme ( POD). Under the careful watch of the Warriors development team, Athletes Village and the WRL Orcas development staff. A series of trial games have been held to provide the young WRL players the pathway opportunity to show case their talents to the Warriors development coaches.

Continuing the relationship with the Warriors development programme pathway. WRL delivered the Harvey Norman Female Athlete weekend for our top under 18s female players.
