Monthly Kapiti Coast Midweek Run
This is held in conjunction with the Horowhenua Branch. The format is to convene at a café or restaurant before proceeding to some destination of interest. Some recent examples are Austin Mews near Fielding, Time Cinema in Lyall Bay, and Cobblestones Museum in Carterton.

This is a weekend tour with some special novelty requirements. A fun weekend of good Motoring, Op Shop shopping, good company and a few laughs.

Social Country/Remembrance Run
As the name suggests, this is a social run, while remembering those who have passed away, especially in the last year. There are always readings from a book of humour gifted to us by the late Murray Mitchel. There is a winner, selected by any method chosen by the organiser. The winner is to organise the next year’s run.

Twilight Rally

Heritage Rally
This is a social rally with the focus on “something historical”. This may be buildings, natural history or whatever the organiser chooses.

Annual Picnic
Held on the first of January, this is an informal gathering for a picnic lunch.

A “Challenge Trophy” Event. This is a series of driving tests to challenge the skills of the entrants. There can be interesting rivalries between husband and wife sharing the same vehicle!

Dawn Breaker Rally
A social run, this starts at some location where (if the weather permits) one can see the sunrise. Then all those gathered retire to a café or restaurant for a well-earned breakfast.

Ladies Rally
This is a combination competitive/social event where the competitors are lady drivers, though men can rally as non-competitive entrants. Men are to bake a cake, with winners for the rally and for the best cake. Of course all attending have the opportunity to sample the cakes.
