Parent/Spectator Code of Conduct

As parents and spectators, your support is vital to creating a positive environment for our young netballers. We ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Positive Support: Promote a game free from verbal or physical abuse.
  • Respect Officials: Address disagreements through official channels, rather than publicly questioning officials.
  • Effort Over Outcome: Teach players that effort is as important as winning.
  • Player Choice: Encourage, but don't force, players to participate.
  • Learning Through Mistakes: Support players as they learn and grow.
  • Focus on Player Enjoyment: Remember that netball is for the players' enjoyment, not yours.
  • Value Volunteers: Appreciate the time and effort of coaches and volunteers.
  • Celebrate Good Play: Applaud good plays by all players.
  • Respect the Rules: Encourage players to respect the rules and umpires' decisions.
