1. Attend Team Training!!

First and foremost, attend team trainings.  There is no better way to learn than to do.  Check out the Become a Member tab for more information on how you can get involved with us.


2. Learn the rules of lacrosse

3. Learn the Lingo

Team trainings can move fast and a lot of terms and other lacrosse slang can be called out that you may not understand.  Start talking like your teammates by having a read of this Lacrosse Terminology glossary. 


4. Wall ball, wall ball, and more wall ball...

That's right, wall ball.  Got a stick and a ball, ok.  Wall ball is a drill that will significantly improve ones catching ability. It also improves focus and enhances stick skills. We've picked a video to get you started but check out other wall ball drills on YouTube.



5. Watch game footage

Watching lacrosse greatly increases your knowledge of the game.  Here are a few of our choices to get you started.
