Youthtown is seeking two new Board Members

Youthtown is looking for two experienced and values-driven individuals to join our Board and help guide the future of our organisation.

Since 1932, Youthtown has supported tamariki and rangatahi to build confidence, resilience, and life skills through high-quality programmes and safe, inclusive environments. As we continue to grow our reach and impact, strong governance and diverse leadership are more important than ever.

We are particularly interested in individuals with the below skills and experience: 

  • Business,  Government and Strategic leadership
  • Partnerships and Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Community or not-for-profit organisations

Programme Team Member - Auckland  

Casual roles

2 locations: South/East or Central/West

We are looking for Programme Team Members to join our team delivering a variety of exciting and engaging activities to children and young people (Youthtown after-school & holiday programmes, Youth programmes during school terms and holidays).

A full NZ driving license is required as deliveries can be spread across different sites. Candidates must be also available during school holidays. Some weekend and evening work may be occasionally requested.

Programme Lead - Upper Hutt

Permanent Full-time

We are seeking a motivated and capable individual with exceptional teamwork and communication skills, and a proven ability to develop and deliver engaging programmes for children and young people. You will bring experience in building strong relationships within the local community, a keen eye for detail and the flexibility to move seamlessly between administration and programme delivery. 

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). Hours of work will be 6.30am-9.00am and 12.30pm-6.00pm during term time. The ability to be flexible in your working hours is essential, as some weekend and evening work may occasionally be required.

A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and at least two years of driving experience are required.
