NETBALL

Netball uniform

A netball dress will be provided to each player (or a netball t'shirt for boys). This must be returned at the end of the season.

There will be sample sizes available at trials or early practices to try on.

Other elements of the EBIS uniform are:

  • black socks
  • black netball knickers or short black shorts, not visible beneath dress
  • plain long-sleeved black polypro top under uniform (optional)
  • plain black leggings under uniform (optional)
  • suitable sports shoes.

Fingernails must be cut short and not sharp - they will be checked before each game.

Long hair must be tied back.

No jewellery is allowed (except a Medic Alert bracelet which must be taped). Please do not get your ears pierced during the season as you will not be able to play.

Ensure any hair ties are removed from wrists.

Note: exemptions for jewellery worn for cultural or spiritual reasons can only be made by the Motu Kairangi committee (not by umpires). A request for exemption should be made in writing at the beginning of the season. If approved, such an exemption is likely to require the item to be taped for health and safety reasons.
