Committee Update - February 2026

Our club held it's annual general meeting in December 2025, and in January we needed to hold a Special Meeting to discuss the future of the Club, due to a number of our Committee members stepping down to explore new opportunities including work, study and family committments.

We have been extremely fotunate to gain 10 members who have joined our Committee for 2026, and together we will steer the club through 2026.

Passionate about kids playing sport? Like seeing your child playing with friends and enjoying netball?

We would love to see more of you.

Our club would greatly benefit from hearing from younger players and their families, come and share your thoughts, help us guide the direction of Ellesmere Netball.

We are needing members who can help with Fundraising/grant applications and general coaching/managing roles.

Volunteering does not mean doing everything or committing every weekend. Roles can be shared, support is provided, and many positions require no prior experience — just a willingness to help. The current committee members have all commented on the positive feelings they get from giving back to the community and that it has been so rewarding for them on a personal level, it is a small commitment of time that makes a very real difference — not just to the club, but to the kids and families who rely on it. Without enough volunteers, we simply cannot operate, and that would mean our players missing out on a season they’ve been looking forward to.
