Our normal timetable (without COVID)

The daily timetable reflects our desire to make the most of our learning time at school and make it as productive and rewarding as possible.  Concentration and enthusiasm for learning is always highest during the morning period for children and, as such, we have aligned our school timetable and programme to cater for this.  Otane School takes pride in its innovative thinking and willingness to think outside the square.  

• 8.30am School Begins
• 9:45am-9:55am Brain Food Break
• 11.20am - 11:40 Morning Tea
• 1.15pm - 1:55 pm Lunch
• 2.30pm School Finishes

KAPAI Assemblies are held everyweek on Thursday afternoon, before Karakia, where children are recognised for their values and achievements during the week.

School lunch orders can be made at the Otane General Store on Fridays.

Students are allowed on site from 8am.

• 2.30pm School Finishes
