We stay connected with whānau through sports and Hauora events. We run programs facilitated by the community such as Whānau fit by Noa Fitness, Romiromi, Mahi Toi, Waiata and Mahuru Māori at the clubrooms

​​​​​​​Whānau Sports Tournament 2023

Get your team ready! Save the Date! Saturday 16th September 2023

In September we hold a whānau friendly summer sports tournament with modified rules so all members from pepi to kaumatua could participate.

Our sports tournament included Ki-o-rahi, Softball, Touch, Volleyball and a Jandal Throw! It was all about having fun and getting our whānau moving!​​​​​​​


Matariki Whānau Day 2023

On the 8th of July Ōtautahi Sports Association in conjunction with He Waka Tapu put on another successful Matariki Whānau Day.

Held at He Waka Tapu, whānau filled the venue for 4 hours of Matariki Activites, Kai and whakawhānaungatanga.


Lancaster Park re-opening June 2022 

Lancaster Park will be the new home grounds to Ōtautahi Rugby Football Club. This is a significant kaupapa for our hapori and we acknowledge all of those who paved the way to where we are today. Nā rātou i whakamahia mō mātou.


Ōtautahi Sports Association 30 Year Celebration 2018

Otautahi Sports Association celebrated 30 years of Incorporation in 2018. From the humble beginnings of a Rugby Club to a multi-sports and cultural club who now have 400 registered members who play, Netball, Touch, Softball, Rugby and Golden Oldies under the banner of “OT Sports Club"

On 1st July 1988, our club, officially became an ‘Incorporated Society’. With a black tie event held at our whare we acknowledged those who have made a significant contribution to the Otautahi Sports Association by awarding them with Life Membership.
