Ice hockey... it's a fast game, it's an exciting game, it's also a very expensive game! But we at Mackenzie Ice Hockey are very fortunate to have amazing sponsors that share our belief in fostering the sport of ice hockey in the Mackenzie community. And for that we are very grateful to our sponsors and grant donors.     

The Mackenzie Ice Hockey Club are extremely grateful to these organisations for the support they continue to provide.  The subsidised ice time makes it possible for the Club to keep membership costs down and support towards travel makes tournaments easier to attend. Help with equipment costs means we have the best gear for our younger players.  A huge thank you for all you have done for our Club.


Trust Aoraki has granted us $10,000 towards subsidised ice time in 2026.





Mid and South Canterbury Community Trust has granted us $5,000 towards subsidised ice time in 2026.




The Rural Travel Fund has granted us $2,000 towards players travel costs in 2026.





Tekapo Community Board has granted us $1,000 for the purchase of specially weighted junior pucks at the end of 2025, which were purchased for the 2026 season.
