MIH aims to make ice hockey accessable to all players and particularly to our younger junior players by making hockey gear available to club members for minimal charge. The club is fortunate to have a large collection of ice hockey gear and, through sponsor and fundrasing efforts, is able to grow and maintain this collection.
Whilst the club has an extensive amount of gear for our junior players we only have a limited supply of equipment for senior players, which we will reserve for any new seniors that want to give ice hockey a go, and encourage our existing seniors to purchase their own.
Tekapo Springs hires skates to club members during MIH sessions (practices and games) for $3 per hire.
The club recommends players moving from U12 through to U18 transition from club gear to personal gear to avoid excessive wear and tear on club equipment.
