About Us
Motueka Association Football Club Inc (“the club”) is an incorporated society since 1975. The club has a constitution “set of rules” by which to give guidance as to how the club is operated. Its 3 main objectives, as in the constitution:
1. To promote the game and playing and practice of association football and of other amateur sports, games and past times and to encourage healthy and rational recreation and social intercourse.
2. To acquire by purchase, lease, hire or otherwise any real or personal property or any rights or privileges’ which may be considered necessary or expedient for attaining the objects of the club or any of them or for promoting the interests of the club or its members. (Club Room at Memorial Park, Pah Street, opened in 2000. Shared with Cricket and Athletics)
3. To conduct such social activities as the Executive may from time to time approve.
We facilitate football for players aged 4 years and up until our knees no longer allow us to play. The club is administered by one executive commitee.
