The NAFC MTF Nelson Honey Bowl IV, 2019 Competition

The 2019 Competition Honey Bowl saw the Outlaws Snatch victory from last years runners up Green Machine.

Outlaws and Green Machine are two of the OG teams from Honey Bowl I, Both had never tasted Honey bowl victory. 

Green Machine have played in 2 of the 3 previous Honey Finals being defeated by the two time Champion Stingrays and the undefeated 2018 raptors .

Whilst the Outlaws were making their first appearance after being knocked out in the semi finals in honey bowl 1 and 3 by the eventual Honey Bowl victors, Stingrays and Raptors.

But this was the Outlaws year, with veteran QB Xaylan Waters leading them to victory, backed by NZ mako squad players, Fergus Murray and Malcolm Mitchell. As well as stand out rookies Carlos Busche, and Lucas Hoggard.

Outlaws destroyed the Green Machines chance at victory for a 3rd time by a score of 28 - 6
