VOLLEYBALL NEW ZEALAND CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Volleyball New Zealand Club Championships is Aotearoa’s premier annual volleyball event, bringing together top club teams from across the country. First held in 1968, where Hamilton Teachers College claimed the Women’s title and Sparta Panmure triumphed in the Men’s, the Championships have become a cornerstone of the sport’s history and growth in New Zealand.

Today, the forever-growing event stands as the pinnacle of club volleyball competition, celebrating excellence, unity, and the enduring spirit of our volleyball whānau.

That’s a Wrap on Another Fantastic Club Season!

What a way to finish the season! The standard of volleyball on display at this year’s Zones and Club Championships was outstanding, and it was a privilege to watch.

A huge thank you to everyone who made these events such a success: the clubs, players, coaches, managers, trainers and families, along with our zone convenors and committees and the VNZ event staff. These competitions only happen because of all of you.

Congratulations to every team that took part. You showed the true spirit of New Zealand volleyball. A special congratulations to the teams who won medals in each division, and to the players named in the tournament teams.
