The annual APA Schools Pétanque Tournament was held at the Herne Bay Pétanque Club on Friday 17^th May.  There were 28 triples team from seven schools which was an increase on last years teams and all students seemed to really enjoy themselves.  There was excellent pétanque played with the students very quickly picking up the rudiments of the game. 

Thanks must go to the teachers and schools for their support and training of their teams and permitting the students to participate, thanks to the volunteers who helped to make the tournament a success and a very big thank you to Herne Bay for allowing APA to use their Clubrooms and terrains for the tournament.

1^st Place: Rangitoto College 5 – Isaac Moore, Nathan Hill, Minko Minkov

2^nd Place: Rangitoto College 2– Jenny Cho, Heewan Esther Park, Elsa Xu

3^rd Place: Rangitoto College 4 – Jamie Lee, Jack Cho, Max Ji

Top Junior School: Belmont Intermediate 3 – Daniel Byrne, Maia Madsen Brough, Sammi Gillies
