Athletics New Zealand Track & Field Championships

These champs are the pinancle of athletics within NZ.

They cover all events over four days for four age groups - U16, U18, U20, senior

HBG Teams are selected following HBG Champs and from a range of events up to and including HBG Senior Champs by HBG selectors.

To be held in Auckland - 5th-8th March 2026 and also 2027 and 2028

ELIGIBILITY

You must be a registered athlete with a HBG club

Compete at these National Championships you must have competed at the HBG senior champs or asked for dispensation

Have met the Athletic NZ qualification marks at least once
