Adult Social Mixed Basketball Notice

Welcome back to Term 2 of Papakura Social Mixed Basketball!

We are thrilled to kick off another season where teams can gather their friends and family to celebrate our love for basketball. Let’s make it an unforgettable experience together!

Our Mixed Basketball League has continuously showcased a wonderful mix of participants from Papakura as well as players from across South Auckland. This diversity reflects the richness of our communities and demonstrates how basketball brings us together through a shared passion.

We want to extend our gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who give their time to help our league thrive. Their contributions ensure that our games run smoothly and create a fantastic atmosphere for everyone involved. We encourage teams to bring along their extended families, friends, colleagues, and classmates to enhance the camaraderie and fun of each evening.

Each week, the league draw will include a designated referee responsibility for each team.

As we embark on this journey together, let’s remember to play in a manner that reflects the best of ourselves and the teams we represent. Our league is all about fostering a SOCIAL MIXED environment.

Our Monday Night Mixed League is a space where everyone should feel safe, included, and excited to engage with their teammates. To ensure the safety of all participants, please note that dunking is not permitted during games. This helps prevent unsafe landings and keeps our focus on the safety of everyone involved.

Let’s work together to create a positive, enjoyable season filled with teamwork and sportsmanship!
