Types of Membership

Full Playing member: Members can play in all club/centre/ national competitions and tournaments.

Limited Playing member: Members may play on club days and afternoon open tournaments at our club. (Play in club championships, other club tournaments or at other clubs is not permitted.)

Associate Member: Is a member who is already a full member of another bowling club. Associate members can play on our club days, but not in our club championships.

Student Membership: Students currently attending school or a tertiary institute.

Restriced/Learner Bowlers: This category is for new bowlers who have not played bowls before and join part way through the season ie Feburuary - July.  These members may attend club coaching sessions and play in club roll-ups for experience. At the start of the new season they will be re-graded as First Year Bowlers.

Social Member: Non bowling members of the club. Social members may also choose to play as a casual player.

Casual Members: Are people who are not a playing member of a bowling club or a social member of Bowls Napier. They may “rollup” on the greens for a fee of $5 per session. They may register to play in a specific social bowling event, eg Business House, Twilight Bowls, Workplace Bowls.

Corporate Bowls: Groups/organisations may book our greens if available, for corporate events. The costs are available from the Corporate Team. email: bnfunctions@gmail.com
