Election of officers at the Annual General Meeting (AGM):

The notice of the AGM will be sent to all members at least 14 days before the AGM as per clause 8b) of the Club Constitution.  The Notice will include the details of the meeting, Agenda, Minutes of the previous AGM, any motions to be considered (including constitution changes), voting rights, proxy vote form, and job descriptions for the four "Officers of the Club".

An invitation will also be sent to life members inviting them to attend the AGM.

The election of the Officers of the Club (President, Secretary, Treasurer and Club Captain) is a key part of the meeting.  Nominations are made at the AGM.

Anyone wishing to make a statement about their suitability for a role will be given the opportunity.

The Committee shall consist of the four "Officers of the Club" and between four (4) and ten (10) members.   These members shall also be elected at the AGM of the Club and shall hold office until the conclusion of the following AGM.

A quorum at any AGM shall consist of not less than fifteen (15) financial members.

Each financial member aged 16 and over may exercise one (1) vote in each ballot and on each motion before such meeting in addition to one (1) vote for the rest of that immediate family if they are financial members and are under 16 years of age.  Proxy votes will be accepted on the appropriate form.  Each life member also had a vote. In the case of equality of voting the President may exercise a casting vote in addition to their deliverative vote.

The decision for members about how they wish to vote is an individual matter and not a collective decision.
