It is with great sadness to hear the passing of Charles Wiffen on Friday the 7th of July. Charles was a Life Member and integral part of the Cheviot and Hawkswood Cricket Clubs. Charles was an extremely passionate supporter and was very generous with his time and contribution towards the club. He loved seeing the club succeed in recent years.

Charles was also the President of Canterbury Country Cricket and his dedication and support of the game has been instrumental.

Charles funeral will be held on Saturday the 15th of July at St Andrews College Chapel at 1:30pm.

Charles has requested that in lieu of flowers donations are made to the Cheviot Cricket Club:
