EWNC DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Duty Club will be responsible for the opening, duration and closing for the night they are
scheduled for duty.
REGISTRATION DUTIES
1. Karakia Timatanga
2. Take the time for each round
3. Ensure lights are turned on at the appropriate time
4. Scorecards for first and second rounds are to be put onto scoreboards and onto the hooks on
the wall
5. First round to be announced ten minutes before scheduled start
6. Second and subsequent rounds are to be announced during half-time of the round prior
7. All score cards are to be collected and all scores are to be recorded on the Registration Draw
8. All score cards are to be collated and left in a pile for the Competition Convenor to collect at
the end of the evening
9. Ensure lights are turned off at the appropriate time
10. Karakia Whakamutunga
SET-UP
1. Open the Netball Centre
2. Set up goal pads from storage shed onto goal posts
3. Ensure the little goals are ready for the first round
4. Court numbers are up on fences
5. Rubbish bins are lined with rubbish bags and are spread throughout the courts
6. The courts are in a good condition to play on
PACK DOWN
1. Collect all goal pads from posts and return to storage shed
2. Collect all court numbers from the fences and return to storage shed
3. Collect all rubbish bins and transfer rubbish into one rubbish bag
4. Return rubbish bins to storage shed
5. Broom and mop pavilion
6. Broom and mop out toilets and ensure toilet paper has been replenished
7. Sign over keys to next Duty Club / School
