TEAM REACH - ECB SOFTBALL COACHES, MANAGERS & SCORERS

We ask our managers, coaches and scorers to join a dedicated coaches Team Reach group.
This is a key communication tool and access to a support network of other ECB coaches.

Your own Teams, Team Reach is also a key tool for the club to share information, when initatives tournaments, events are shared, please help by discussing with your teams as well to encourage engagement.

🕒 Please note:The draw is tentative and may change up until it’s finalised each Thursday at 5pm. Updates can include changes to diamonds, game times, or BYE status.
✅ Tip: Always double-check the draw the day before your game to make sure you have the latest information for your team.

DEFAULTS:
Please do all possible to play, you are able to ask someone from a grade below to play ie: U13 can ask U11, U16 can ask U13 etc... If you need help by another coach for a week, please use your network via the coaches team reach and ask for help.   Please identify children in your team that are happy to play up if needed, so there is a pool of players that can be called upon.  This is excellent experience for players and should be encouraged.

If you have to default no later than 11am the day before your game ie: 11am Friday (for a Saturday game)  ​​​​​​​

Reschedule: If you have kids at camp and know other teams may be effected you may be able to reschedule the game, this is uncommon but can be asked if you know well in advance.  You will need to give at least 1 weeks notice for this process. 

RAIN OUT / CANCELLATION PROCEDURE → CLICK HERE -
Cancellations announcements will be made on the North Harbour FB page, shared via ECB Softball FB page and your Team Reach. 
If games are rained out, you may be asked to play your game at another time, which could be mid week or a date set aside from NHSA.

​​​​​​​Balance is Better held online Webinars which gave insight on what the experts think sporting organisations should be doing to safe guard our youth in sports today. Balance is Better is about creating quality experiences for all young people to keep them active and in the game.
