The 2011/2012 Combined Ellesmere/ Malvern/ Banks Peninsula competition kicks off this weekend. Unfortunately this years sees the demise of Akaroa Little River, while Sheffield and Leeston-Southbridge will enter teams after Christmas. Again Diamond Harbour-Kaituna and Weedons are looking strong while this years surprise package may be the boys from South Malvern who look like a strong experienced unit.
