All swimmers that transition from Martins Swim School to squads automatically become members of the Enterprise Cars Swim Team. This means that they are swimming at a level which makes them eligible to compete.

All Swimmers who wish to compete at swimming competitions MUST be a member of a Swimming NZ Club before they are eligible to enter.

There are four main types of swimmer memberships:

1. Competitive Swimmer (12 yrs and under) – Able to compete at all competitions - club nites, club championships, inter-club meets, regional championships, national meets and international meets.
2. Competitive Swimmer (13 yrs and over) – Able to compete at all competitions - club nites, club championships, inter-club meets, regional championships, national meets and international meets
3. Recreational Swimmer – Able to compete at club nites,and club championships where only their own club is involved.
4. Learn to Swim Swimmer – Able to compete at club nites,and club championships where only their own club is involved.

Swimmers can be transferred to Enterprise from other swimming clubs or districts if they wish.
