NFC (2026/2027)

To be considered for the National Representative NFC you must complete this Registration Form in full. Any players that have outstanding levies with either their club or WSA are ineligible for selection. The Representative levy TBC.

Please ensure you read the WSA Player Code of Conduct before completing this form.

National Tournament Schedule for the 2026/2027 competition year will be as follows:

National Fastpitch Championship, 18 - 21 February 2027, North Harbour Softball Inc, 1 Jack Hinton Drive, Rosedale, Auckland.  


Selection Process

By registering your interest, you will be up for selection by the NFC Coaching Staff. The staff will be doing their due diligence to scout, evaluate, and finialise decisions for the 2026/2027 roster. Please be sure to enter accurate contact information- email, phone, etc.  

If you have not been selected for Wellington's team, you can register to be a pickup on Softball New Zealand’s website.

Age Grade Trial information

All players wanting to make a Wellington Representative Team must fill out a Trial Form and attend trials to be eligible.  The cost to attend a tournament is to be confirmed.

Be sure to:

  • Wear your club uniform and appropriate footwear
  • Sunblock
  • Snacks and water
  • Bat and batting helmet if you have them
  • Catching gear if you are a catcher

If you are unable to attend one or more of the trials, please be sure to still register and reach out to manager@wellingtonsoftball.org.nz to provide details.

Tournament Costs

All fees/levies are to be fully paid 14 days prior to departure, or a direct debit or automatic payment authority must be operating.

Payment arrangements can be set up immediately.  Requests to be sent to finance@wellingtonsoftball.org.nz .  Approval will not be given for players who have not adhered to payment terms and conditions historically.

Players with outstanding levies will not be permitted to take the field for their club side until debt is repaid.

Fees for the 2026/27 season are TBC per player.

Any payments due WSA can be paid direct into the Association's Account:

Financial Assistance Fund

Wellington Softball Association (WSA) Executive has established a fund for our U17 and U19 National Representative players to help assist with fees to attend a National Tournament.

This fund is open to those that find it difficult to fund their trip. If you think this is you please talk to your Club President or Club Secretary. While you need to fill out the application, your Club needs to send the form to WSA on your behalf.
